Apparantly all the camera information, i.e. shutter speed at the time the picture was taken is stored in .jpg hearder. Nikon D200 has a serial port hook up for serial GPS device! how cool is that? storing the coordinates where there picture was taken. This article by Josgua Trupin,the executive editor of MSDN Magazine decribes the photo viewer program he wrote which reads the coordinates and will show the location on Virtual Earth.
